Good Vibes

We are all energetic beings filled with cells that contain information and generate a frequency. This frequency has a vibration. Our soul’s expression is thru energetic frequency so establishing a connection with our body mind and spirit offers us the opportunity to raise our vibration each and every day. In fact, all living things have their own vibrational frequency. Animals are adept at tuning in to vibrations to find food and avoid being hunted themselves, it’s also how they move around within their habitats. One common vibration living creatures share is sound as we tend to both feel and hear sound vibrations.

So why would we want to raise our soul’s vibration? Raising our vibration allows us to tap into the uniquely powerful interconnectedness residing within each of us. Strengthening or raising the vibrations is being studied extensively and there are many indications of a strong correlation with disease prevention and healing along with improved mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual alignment. In fact, the mind heart connection is uniquely powerful as they can talk directly to each other via an exchange of information. Just as our emotional states can influence our heart, the heart sends signals directly to our brains in the format of nerves, hormones and pressure receptors. The signals the heart sends to our brain can affect our mood, attention and stress levels.

In essence, it’s a powerful feedback loop where one aspect cares for and supports the other. An old-fashioned Soul Food recipe might include: feeling grateful, good nutrition, listening to soothing music, exposure to nature, exercise, proper sleep, practicing meditation, mindfulness or prayer, and quality social connections. There’s an old saying, “like attracts like,” so raising our soul’s vibration would naturally attract more to be grateful for.
